Innovative Display Technology: 4.3-inch Color Screen with 480×272 Resolution Balances Performance and Efficiency

2025-12-12

Display solution provider “VisionTech” today officially launched a new 4.3-inch color LCD screen with a resolution of 480×272 pixels. Designed to offer a reliable and low-power display solution, it targets industrial control, portable devices, and embedded systems.

This newly launched 4.3-inch color screen utilizes advanced TFT-LCD technology, delivering a clear and vibrant visual experience within a compact form factor. The 480×272 resolution provides approximately 128 PPI (pixels per inch) on the 4.3-inch screen, ensuring fundamental clarity for reading text, displaying graphics, and presenting user interfaces.

“This display is designed for devices that require reliable display functionality within limited space,” said Li Min, Product Manager at VisionTech. “It achieves an excellent balance between resolution, power consumption, cost, and size, making it ideally suited for applications such as industrial handheld terminals, portable medical devices, automotive aftermarket navigation systems, and smart home control panels.”

The screen features a typical brightness of 300 nits, with options for high-brightness versions based on customer needs. It supports an extended operating temperature range (-20℃ to 70℃), ensuring stable performance in harsh environments. It also supports various common interfaces, including RGB and MCU, facilitating rapid integration into existing design schemes.

While the consumer electronics sector often pursues higher resolutions, moderate resolution remains advantageous in specific industrial and commercial applications by reducing overall system power consumption and cost while enhancing reliability. The introduction of this 4.3-inch screen aims to precisely meet the needs of these niche markets.

Market analysts note that against the backdrop of rapid development in the Internet of Things (IoT) and industrial automation, display modules focusing on specific performance and cost segments continue to enjoy steady and sustained demand. Terminal devices incorporating this screen are expected to gradually enter the market in the third quarter of this year.
